Parking

More than 7,500 car-parking spaces are available in the city centre of Heidelberg. 19 parking lots offer collectively 5,500 parking spaces in addition to approximately 2,000 further parking spots. The automatic parking-guidance-system leads visitors to vacant parking spaces in the city. Further information: www.heidelberg.de/parken.

Free parking is possible at the new “Messplatz” (exhibition place) which is located at “Kirchheimer Weg”. It is recommended when arriving from South or South-West towards Heidelberg. The city centre is accessible from there on by bus or tram without any stress.

Public Transportation

Heidelberg has a great range of public transportation. Inside the city centre there are many busses and trams ready for use  (www.vrn.de). The heart of the city is traffic-calmed but still accessible with busses number 31 and 32.

From outside the region you can reach Heidelberg from all directions with the extensive S-Bahn-network (www.s-bahn-rheinneckar.de). Very attractive for guests are the tickets “Ticket24”, “Ticket24PLUS”, “City-Tariff Heidelberg” and the “3-Days-Ticket”. For further information please contact RNV.
