Structure

PRO Heidelberg e.V. is an independent city marketing association whose office is located at the Heidelberg Marketing GmbH (Convention and Visitors Bureau).

The association is financed through the contributions of its 160 members and also benefits of the city of Heidelberg.

A five-member voluntary managing committee is giving PRO Heidelberg e.V. a direction for all actions and activities. Further supporter is also the “Initiativkreis Citymarketing” (Consultative Committee). But still the management is responsible for the realization of all tasks.

Goals and Intentions

PRO Heidelberg e.V. is committed with its members and co-partners to the shopping location in Heidelberg. The spatial priority of all activities lies in the sector of the historic city centre.

A functioning and attractive well-being city centre is important to contribute in creating an image and identification.

PRO Heidelberg e.V. and its members are composed of retail, gastronomy and culture as such as institutions of economy and administration. They try to create general conditions for an attractive city which should improve constantly and also optimise in a long term.  For this purpose PRO Heidelberg e.V. worked on a “Ten-Scores-Programme” whose content is realized together with its members. To show the strength of the shopping location in Heidelberg to its citizens and surrounding areas the association and its partners initiates different promotionally effective actions which are commercialized in the Metropolitan Region Rhine-Neckar.
