Heidelberg – the city on the Neckar with it 145.000 inhabitants, the world famous castle, Germany’s oldest university and one of Germany’s longest pedestrian streets – is looking forward to your visit!

Heidelberg’s city centre offers a large variety of shops and gastronomic establishments where more than 400 companies are waiting for you. We would like to invite you to discover a high valued and versatile range as well as friendly service in the heart of Heidelberg’s historic atmosphere. The pedestrian and also shopping area stretches over 1.4 km along the “Hauptstrasse” (Main Street), between the traffic junction “Bismarckplatz” and “Kornmarkt” as well as the surrounding side streets.

In addition to the main street as the central axis you can find in particular in the side streets e.g. the parallel running “Plöck” or “Untere Straße” numerous individual businesses with multifaceted offers: small boutiques, gift ideas and everything for the daily use. Furthermore, neighbouring districts to the Old Town like Bergheim and Neuenheim invite for a shopping trip.

While in summer, with their outdoor seating, the cafés and restaurants make a Mediterranean flair, in winter, the Christmas lighting and the Christmas market create a cozy atmosphere.
